Carlos Carmen was born in Santiago, Chile. He arrived in Los Angeles in the year 1998. Since then he has worked as a touring and studio musician for: Alejandra Guzman, Pancho Koch / Archie Frugone (Viena), Mauricio Claveria (La Ley), Reik, La Quinta Estacion, Rica Benavides (bassist from Michael Sambello/Quiet Riot), JJ Brown (the drummer of Rick James), and many more… Carlos Carmen has launched himself as a solo artist, author, composer, multi-instrumentalist and arranger. He is currently endorsed by Kauer Guitars and Rotosound Strings.
