Archie J. Howard II, a.k.a. “Big Arch” was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He developed the love of music and singing when he was very young and sang in both school and church choirs for many years. Archie was also trained formally under the teachings of Mrs. Gladys Jackson, who was one of the first black concert pianist from Julliard School of Music.
